Sugar Grove Park District is excited to announce the re-opening of many of its outdoor spaces on June 15.

What’s Opening on June 15?

What’s Staying Closed?

Playgrounds – swings, climbing structures, balance beams, whirls, spinners, spring rides, slides, tunnels, talk tubes, puzzles, etc. 

All Sugar Grove Park District playgrounds will continue to be closed until Phase 4 of Restore Illinois Plan.  We are on target to enter that phase on Friday, June 26.

School-Park Properties – All outdoor recreation spaces, courts, fields, playgrounds, trails, tracks, etc. at properties shared with Kaneland School District #302 and Sugar Grove Park District. 

  • Outdoor recreation spaces at Kaneland John Shields Elementary School & Volunteer Park are closed.
  • Outdoor recreation spaces at Harter Middle School & Harter Community Park are closed.
