Sponsorships & Donations

Basketball Sponsor 2020Sponsoring a team, event, or park at the Sugar Grove Park District offers an affordable and effective way to reach residents while also supporting our community and helping to improve the quality of events and programs offered by the District. Support from local businesses helps the District offer activities and events that provide our residents the opportunity to spend time together, have fun, meet new friends and build community.  Sponsor funds can help offset event costs, making it possible for the District to increase event and activity offerings.

Sugar Grove Corn Boil 5K Run and Walk

Held each year in concert with the Sugar Grove Corn Boil, the 5K Run/Walk is run the last full weekend in July.  The 5K course is USATF nationally certified and recognized by Road Runners Club of America.  The popular annual event attracts hundreds of participants and spectators.  Started in 1993, the Corn Boil 5K runners range in age from six years old to more than 80.  About one-third of the runners are from Sugar Grove while the others come from throughout the western suburbs and Chicagoland area.
